BEWARE OF MURDER-FOR-HIRE CELEBRITIES

Text: Mark 19:17-22

One of the commandments that Christ reeled out to the young rich man who was seeking eternal life is; ”do not murder”.

Now, let’s talk about what murder is like in its realest sense.

To God, who happens to be the wisest, death does not necessarily mean the separation of the body and soul. Yes, because if that was the case, we should have seen Adam and Eve died in accordance with our human perception of death after their eating the forbidden fruit, for God said the day they eat of it, they’ll surely die. They were still breathing after the digestion and assimilation of the food by their bodies.

God, who created life, knows what life actually is and therefore, He is the only one who can as well perfectly define death in its truest sense. It is most likely man will refer to death to as what it’s not out of sheer ignorance because he has never created one.

After eating the fruit introduced to them by the first anti-Christ, the devil, they died according to God’s word. How? They became spiritually stagnated, however, not by lack of heartbeats.

Until this moment, the devil is still killing a lot by employing hired assassins in the forms of false prophets and pastors, even by the so-called celebrities, world government institutions, and other myriads of agents to murder God’s children (becoming to people of God, a stumbling block to their spiritual advancement).

Ask yourself; ”how many people you’ve killed in a way worse than cutting off the head via suggesting to them to imbibe a culture that is anti-Christ, thereby stalling their journey to the kingdom of God?

To all the celebrity pastors the devil is paying well in order to carry out these demonic and murderous assignments of daily murder of people of God, except you destroy the house you’ve erected on this anti-Christ foundation which will not last. The house you’ve built on a fake foundation, as any foundation which is not Christ’s is fake. Destroy it to begin to rebuild afresh on a foundation that is Christ. This is what repentance means.

The rich young man who portrayed all the good outward piety, like perfect church attendance, being a regular and consistent church worker, giving to the poor, and so on. He was brimming with confidence when Jesus told him he should do all the good things he was already doing. He became saddened and offended when he was asked to do the most important thing missing. To sell all he has, give the proceeds to the poor, take up his cross and follow Christ.

Selling his possessions, giving the proceeds to the poor, picking up his cross and following Christ, in order words means he should use all the gifts bestowed upon him by God in the service of God alone. He should stop being the direct enjoyer of the gifts. He should let his enjoyment come from the enjoyment of the gift of GOD in his custody via the way he uses them. These gifts include the money he has. But this he was unwilling to do because of his mentality that all he has, was given to him for his enjoyment through his personal works (works of flesh) which is antagonistic to the works of God.

Having difficulty in doing the commandment of Christ was because all the wealth was founded on the wrong foundation. The acquisition of them all came to him out of fear and not out of love. He was able to gather all those monies via services to the devil despite all the outward ‘’good’’ appearances his life reflected to the on-looking human limited sense of sight.

Examples of works of flesh include; envy, covetousness (spirit of gathering and gathering in the name of entrepreneurship; don’t be deceived), fornication, adultery, revelry, chemical intoxication, gluttony, anger because of lack access to things needed in satisfying the fleshly lustful desires, etc..

Works of flesh are antagonistic to the works of God.

So the rich man was not ready to lose his sense of being a rich man by a way of destroying the old mindset, in order to receive a new one offered by Christ. The relationship he has with his wealth, he was not ready to lose for a true relationship with Christ. He is not ready to discard the ideology that he is reach because he can afford to access whatever he wants with his wealth. He does not know that true richness is in the ability to reach out to doing what God needs one to do.

What work are these celebrities doing that is making the big corporations pay them huge money for endorsements? Have you ever asked yourself? Look at those folks in for example; BBN. What is special in what they do that they have to be paid that much. They are guns in the hand of the devil. they’ve exchanged their souls for the wealth offered by the devil. They are devil’s hired assassins.

Another set that is like them are the fake prophets and pastors celebrities. They are all murder-for-hire entities making money off people’s spiritual life they’ve succeeded in hijacking. And their pay master is the devil. Unfortunately all the benefits mixed with sorrows they get, at the end of the day, ends here while they continue in gnashing of teeth and suffering in the place of torment, endlessly, hereafter.

People of God, beware!!

YOU ARE BLESSED BEYOND CURSE

Blessed are you when you were cursed to serve. Blessed are you when you were blessed to serve. Let us presume one of these two statements is for one person Mr. A while the other is for another Mr.B.

There is one similarity between the two. They were both called to serve while difference is the opposing perspective to their calling. One is expected to see his calling as a blessing; a perspective, while the other sees his as a curse; another perspective.

The expected outcome as the humans that we are is that, the one whose perspective painted a curse will more likely not serve the ones to be served well enough because of how the word; curse is supposed to color his emotion and therefore affects his outlook towards life. And for the one with an opposing perspective, the reversal is the case.

Ham, one of Noah’s three sons was cursed in order to be a blessing for the rest. I read the scriptures unbiased with the help of the Holy Spirit and discovered that Ham did not see his father’s nakedness out of willful endeavors. He stumbled on that evil. Powers beyond his capability nudged him into that fateful circumstance. After founding himself in the seemingly unfortunate situation, he began his real service to his brothers by quickly going to tell them their father was naked. He did it to prevent them from falling into the same pit he found himself. Imagine he just kept quiet, watching to see others too stumble on their father’s nakedness in order to drag them into the same fate that has befallen him. But instead, he made the needed move; he served them by alerting them to the danger lurking around in order to assist them in acting accordingly. Therefore, is it unwise to say that the cursing of Ham birth the other two’s blessings? Was Jesus not cursed for our sake in order for us to become blessed?

But should we be complacent in our cursed life in order to be a blessing to our brothers as called by God for us to be a blessing? Yes. One; because it is a calling and we should be willing to obey God’s calling, for that alone is the basis on which God will adjudge us righteous. Obedience, which is He asserted is far more effective and valuable than sacrifice when it’s about pleasing Him. Two, I just talked about perspective. The one who is seeing it from a cursed point of view chose to see it that way and will definitely pay emotionally for this specific choice. While the one with a more advanced and perfect thinking whose perspective is different will also reap the corresponding emotiveness.  It is a question of perspective. It’s like a popular analogy that describes a cup being painted a half full or half empty. From one angle, the cup is considered full and from another, empty. It all depends on perspectives.

This is a wakeup call for all who are called by God to serve at this time. No matter what you are passing through which most of the time the adversity is expanded and exaggerated by the way we respond to life’s battles and challenges, I encourage you to know that we are called to serve. We should not be forgetful of God’s words that say, it is more blessed to give than to receive. Most times we limit giving to only tangible materials such as money or food. But we can also serve in terms of giving intangible things in form of anything. In the corporate world, we hear companies say they sell services as against tangible products.

The truth is God can never curse nobody. All of these negative words have to be coined for the purpose of communication amongst a judgmental community of human beings with highly ineffective thinking. Their thinking became ineffective since they chose not to depend on God for anything.

However, the Lord admonished we should strive towards being perfect as He that is in heaven. This includes being perfect and advanced in our thinking too.

Numbers 23:20 says; Look here, I received a word of blessing, and He has spoken a blessing. I cannot take it back. Beloved, you are blessed beyond a curse for what I bless no man can curse. My word is Truth and nothing and no one can stand against it.

You’ve been pronounced blessed by God. Do not allow your assignment begin to make you turn to or create a perspective that makes you feel cursed. Carry out your service without murmur or complain. Carrying out of your service without regret of any form is the only way to save up treasures for yourself in heaven as elicited in the Bible. It is the greatest form of self-love. This is how you rule as the king that you are in the kingdom of God. This has nothing to do with having a physical crown of gold on your head or being a president of one of the countries of this overly corrupt world system. It is plainly spiritual and the rewards accrued to serving on this level are spiritual. They are things no amount of money or connection can get for you.

WHAT TRULY IS DESTINY?

A brother was asking for clarifications regarding what destiny is and why God will allow people to suffer when already destined to prosper by God.

Thank God for giving me an answer for him.

Now, let me still share this answer with as many as are equally destined to find solace in it.

Destiny is the life reactionary to a specific choice made by man. There is this street parlance usually parroted by urchins, especially those who like to narrate their experience with fiddling with drugs. You will hear them say; ”Omo, that level carry me ”trabayee” (I hope you can relate with the spelling well. This is how best I can spell it). Meaning; it took them on a remarkable and either long or short journey.

In the same vein, every choice you make and execute will surely take you on its own resultant and remarkable trabayee. If you chose to be a carpenter, that choice will take you through life on its own specific resultant journey. If it was medical doctor, it will take you through its own specific journey. You choose to marry a rich, beautiful woman from a country overseas, this choice will course you through life in its own specific carved path. And so on and so forth.

This is to show that we are prone to having myriads of destinies wrapped in one destiny (the totality of our life). This pattern is rooted in the choices we make.

Therefore, destiny is a product of choices made and it is subject to who we truly are in terms of nature. I mean spiritually. That is why it is admonished we should not copy others, for we do not know the level of grace they are working with. They might make a choice without any evil repercussion for which if we only think of making could spell doom for us.

Now, we know for every authentic commodity, there are possibilities for million of other versions of it which are fake on their varied level of existence. Jesus said in one of his sayings that all others who came before him were thieves, according to John 10:8; meaning there was no authentic one among them.

There could be millions of destinies available to a man based on the millions of choices available for him to make but there could only be one authentic destiny. This is true based on the explanation of the relationship between choices and destiny earlier made.

There is one and the only authentic destiny. This is the destiny reactionary to choosing to please God by living a holy and righteous life. However, the Holy spirit is needed to enlighten one regarding what holy and righteous life truly is. Therefore as a seeker of the truth, we need to firstly play our role by fighting the temptation to do with our time those things that provide the mind the leverage to lure us to do unwholesome things for the spirit within, through it (through the body). What are these things? They are the likes of what we do with our mouth in talking, what we do with our belly in eating and what we do with our genitals in sexual activities. These trio is cardinal. Once we are able to conquer the temptations that come from these three, the rest would be to us small fries. We should desist from activities that are geared towards feeding the flesh and making it feel good all the time. Then, the Holy spirit will come and dwell in our heart to guide us through all things we humanly wouldn’t have ever had any inkling into based on our limited senses.

What is the authentic destiny? This is the reaction to the choice needed to be made to call forth this authentic and common destiny which has nothing to do with your genetic make up, family and cultural background, or any other factors combined to make you a human being that you are.

This destiny is ETERNAL LIFE borne of choosing to live a life that is pleasing to God your maker. This destiny of eternal life has nothing to do with anything material which we attribute our acquisition of them, as being making us disposed to enjoying.

There are millions of people with stupendous wealth of money who will tell you in all sincerity they don’t know what enjoyment is because they lack the joy that comes from the awareness of being saved from their sin. This joy I just talked about they are equally are not aware it exists, until God in His grace bring it to their awareness.

Eternal life attainment is the destiny of those who have found Christ which could be paraphrased as; who have found the will and purpose of their God and are willing to carry the cross accrued to executing this only authentic choice they have to make. These ones don’t live like the ones who are madly chasing after a fleeting shadow of a life like it’s going to be forever. These one are living to die for what they know is the only real and worthy destiny. They are aware that the time they were allotted here on earth is meant to chase this all important destiny; ready to suffer all that is needed to be suffered for in order to attain this destiny.

Dear brethren, the only real destiny is eternal life and the destiny helper you should seek is the Holy spirit. Seek the holy spirit by living a holy and righteous life which the holy spirit can never resist. Yes, a holy life has all the capability to seduce the holy spirit. Yes, if to seduce is bad, be bad like that in a good way. We can actually be bad in a good way just like we can be good in a bad way.

Your wisest choice is to seek the kingdom of God first, then begin to do the kingdom’s righteousness, so that every other thing which is nothing but the holy spirit (your destiny helper) will be granted you.

May we all fulfil our destiny as God has willed and purposed for us In Jesus Christ’s name.

SUICIDE: ONE OF DEATH’S KILLING WEAPONS

Death has numerous weapons at its disposal to take the life of men. Among them are road traffic accident, diabetes, malaria, high blood pressure, cancer, fall from height, gas explosion, war, famine, fatal treatment errors by a treating doctor/nurse, careless Babalawo, inimical pastors, blood-thirsty witches, wizards, and many more which include suicide. in fact, the ways to die are countless.

But why is suicide the only one man feels when it is the employed tool, automatically takes the dead to hell? As if how the cloth is stripped off the body actually matters more than where the soul goes after death. A man in a burning cloth will not take his cloth off the same way like the one without issues will leisurely take his off. In fact, the one will burning cloth will shred his with any available shredder at the speed of light.

A man who after realizing there is nothing to life and choose to take his own life to go to another place he feels is home and while doing it ask God to forgive his sins and sincerely tells God who is able to see the heart of man that he can’t wait another second in this wicked world and under such circumstance, commits suicide, how is God going to judge this kind of man compared to the one who is busy swimming in materialism till he become aged to the point he must give up the ghost. And at that point, instead of fixing his mind on heavenly things was busy regretting and thinking about the estate he will leave behind after death.

If you were God, how would you judge this matter. Well, this is not an arguable thing. The truth is God owes nobody apology or explanation. His word is what he will allow to stand.

Jesus was destined to die a shameful death such as being hung on the cross. In the same vein, an individual can be destined to die by suicide for the salvation of the soul. We cannot with our limited senses know as much as God or more than him.

Why all these contemplation? It is because of Judas’ suicide case.

Who knows what he was fixing His mind on while contemplating suicide and eventually carrying it out.

Most definitely, many of us would not remember God during our dying moment because we’ve not taken the pain and time to train our minds to always think about Him. The mind is most likely going to be fixed on what it has been trained with all our lifetime to indulge in (materialism). And eventually when dying will automatically be fixed on familiar thoughts (materialistic thinking), the thought of things other than God. In this case, there’s no suicide but look at what the state of mind is in death. But the truth is nothing is more suicidal than inordinate indulgence in materialism.

Those who are wise know that life was given by God to man for the use of preparation for death.

There are many ways for man to die and suicide is one of them. They all serve the same purpose- To separate the spirit from the body. And it is not all who die by suicide will be condemned by God. The ways of God is totally different from that of men.

Caveat: This is not to encourage you to kill yourself in the bid to run away from carrying your inevitable cross. If that was your case, then be rest assured you will be apportioned the hottest part in the place reserved for those who chose to follow their own way at the expense of God’s. And if this spurs some antagonistic tendencies in you or confuse you in a way, just act like you never came across this post.

GOD IS GOOD; HIS MERCY IS FOREVER

TEXT: 1ST CHRONICLE 7:1-3, ROMANS 11:30-32

The Bible text in the book of 1st Chronicle 7: 1-3, depicts God to be a good entity whose mercy is not seasonal. It says His mercy endures forever because He is always good.

But with our experience as humans with limited understanding, it is difficult to understand how God’s mercy could be at work amidst pathetic situations we face. How can I be starving for lack of funds and still be with the notion that God’s mercy is at work?

To the one who is carnal and devoid of the word of God, such an understanding is insane. But for us who know that all things work together for the good of those whom God loves, we understand that God’s mercy that brought us out of the quagmire is the same force that took us there in the first place. The Lord’s mercy caused the Jews to deal with God in unbelief in order to cause His mercy to save the Gentiles who was never with any knowledge of His power and glory. The same God in His same mercy will cause the Jews to believe through the belief of the Gentiles in due time according to the Romans 11:30-31.

This is to say that the true children of God by God’s mercy, through the enlightenment obtainable from His Word are aware that heaven or hell, in richness or poorness, in health or sickness; the mercy of God never cease to flow. His mercy brings one to a downfall; because the fall is needed to impart an awareness that is profitable in terms of better knowing God. Every Egypt was made by God for His children for the purpose of deliverance.

The word of God says in Hosea 11:1; ”out of Egypt I called my son”. The truth is; God’s mercy that called the son out of Egypt, equally sent him there in the first instance. And all for a purpose. A good purpose for the Lord is good and His mercy is forever.

My brethren, regardless of what you are currently facing, good or bad, Know that is for your own good. It is for the good of your soul that is only using the body to navigate through this realm we are in, in order to garner all the needed experience to purify us. The roots of all our problems could be traced to our over-identifying with the body as who/what we are.

Know who you are. Know that you belong to a good God whose mercy endures forever. Know that you are a spirit subservient to a God who is also a Spirit. And you can only worship this God in the knowledge of the truth. This knowledge inspires you to worship God in spirit, the only truth.

I pray God bring our way to an encounter that will deliver us from the ignorance of the truth.

God loves all for His mercy is not discriminatory. The Lord is good and His mercy is forever.

WHAT KIND OF VESSEL ARE YOU?

What you carry inside of you depends on how readily available you make yourself for use by Holy Spirit or unholy spirit.

Know this: The Holy Spirit detests all characters that stem from covetousness, greed and lustful passions. Summarily, what this in other words implies is; the Holy Spirit is hovering around in search of those who are willing and prepared to purify their existence by living a holy life first, then, enabling Christ to assist them in living His righteousness which of course is the only valid righteousness a man can portray before the Almighty Father.

Most times, we are driven by all, one or two of the aforementioned trio of force without our knowing. Still, out of genuine humility, we can ask God to open our eyes to know what it means to be good to ourselves and our neighbors, so we don’t get deceived by the father of all liars, the Devil.

This journey of living a holy and righteous life begins with seeking an original word of God from a true man of God or better mentioned; man from God. Beware of the rubber-stamped-fake- man- of- God. They were trained to be smooth talkers. They are Snakes with all kinds of subtle maneuverings who are out to do their father’s bidding of killing, stealing and destroying destinies.

Next Sunday is another one to seek God; who are you running to for deliverance; for the greatest of all exorcisms comes from the inflow of God’s undiluted Word.

YOU DO NOT BELONG TO THIS WORLD

What is day to the followers of Christ is night to the adherents of the Devil. The state of your heart will determine how pure your perception will be.

You don’t belong to this world as a follower of Christ. As a result, do not expect the world to like you. Do not struggle with trying to make any sense to the world. Just mind your business; the works your Lord, your God has put in your hands to do.

If the Devil and his children claimed this world belongs to them, fine. But let’s see where they will go when the world and everything in it comes to its inevitable end. Because heaven and earth shall pass away but the Word of God will forever remain.

Oh, just occurring to you that what you call heaven will equally come to an end according to the statement above? Yes. Heaven, as elicited I the Bible has a beginning because the book of Genesis affirmed it was created in the beginning alongside other abodes like for example; Earth. Therefore, if it has a beginning, then certainly, there must be an end to it.

Only those who are pure in heart are capable of transcending these limited abodes to reach where the unlimited God dwells.

We must therefore pray to God to assist us in getting our hearts pure enough in order to be able to see him as elicited in the beatitude that says; ”blessed are those pure in heart for they shall see God”.

Not all is qualified to see God; only the pure in heart. Purify your heart by your thinking. How? Let the foundation of your thoughts be rooted in the truth that you do not belong to this world.

ONE LIFE TO LIVE: LIVE IT NOT IN VAIN

All the years Joseph spent wandering from one problem to another. From the pit to Potiphar’s house to the prison, and finally to the King’s palace. All that while, he couldn’t have occurred to him to contemplate what his contemporaries were busy doing which by conventional wisdom, a-must-do to be dubbed responsible.  But this is not to say Joseph was doing nothing. As a matter of fact he was doing a lot more than those who seemed to be busy doing something ‘’responsibly’’. He was doing better than those who at that time were in the universities studying to get a degree, those who were planning their wedding engagements, those who were learning the presumed best-selling trade skills at that time just like every Tom, Dick and Harry throng after tech skills today just because of the mouth watering paycheck associated with it and other endeavors rooted in the need to keep up with the joneses.

All of Joseph’s experience were preparatory to his stepping into the promising future God foretold him repetitively in the dream couple of times.

The Bible says in Gen 39:23 that the attention of the prison’s warder were shifted from Joseph while He was in the prison and succeeded at all he did. A carnal person will wonder what kind of success is obtainable in the prison. But what is success to the divine is failure to the carnal.

But why did I say Joseph was doing better than most of all his busy contemporaries despite his being in incarceration? It is because He was under God’s tutelage. His kindergarten experience he had while still with his folks in his father’s house, elementary education he had when he was in the dry pit, he was enrolled in the potiphar’s house for his high school needs and within the confines of the walls of an Egyptian prison; he undertook his university education. God was busy using all of his life’s challenges and persecution on different fronts to deconstruct him and bring him into a new awareness of self in preparation for the main level God wants him to be to handle the main event.

He rode on the ebb and flow of a divine order and orchestration. He did not struggle with the tide. It is not by power and not by might; says the Lord of host. Zechariah 4:6.

Joseph was never busy pursuing economic development strategists that most probably could be rife in his time, or do you think madness like that is just beginning in our generation? But at last, did he not have access to stupendous wealth? I mean holistic one. Money, power and respect (MPR), all combined in one for one man. What even if at the end he did not have access to money like he did, what does it count? To serve God is not a license to getting millions of Naira. Whether you will have a lot of money or not is your maker’s prerogative. You have no right to query Him. This was why Jesus said whoever is not willing to leave his/her family in order to follow Him is not worthy to be called His disciple. But what is more familiar to one than one’s desire? If you are not ready to forego your desire to be rich and allow only God’s will, then you are not willing to be part of God’s kingdom.

Joseph did not eventually become wealthy because he desired to be wealthy but became rich because it is catalytic to his life purpose coming to fruition. His Staying in the purpose of God will automatically give him access to money, power and respect because it is a necessity for him to do the work of God peculiar to him.

This is why Joseph must have unlimited access to MPR (money, power, respect): God has ordained him to be the siphon  planted in Egypt, through whom the Egyptian wealth to be employed in cultivating the children of Israel to that numerical strength He wants them to attain before making them slid into slavery and eventually delivered, shall come.

God promised Abraham the deliverance will be great and awesome ages before Joseph was even conceived; hence having them like the numerous stars pervading the night sky he showed Abraham in a vision must occur. It is part of the game plan and somebody is needed for God to achieve all of these through. Joseph made himself available.

God had to train Joseph to the point he is trusted enough to make a godly use of the MPR God had reserved for him in Egypt that happened to be a foreign land to him because neither by nativity nor birth, he belonged there. Imagine a foreigner from an unknown background with a rough and squalid antecedent, becoming a prime minister. The citizens obviously must be sleeping. God is involved, hence, nothing is impossible.

God would never have entrusted such position in the hands of an ungodly or a carnal individual with lack of self awareness who when might have gotten to this position will be busy using the resources to fund his insatiable and lustful appetites.

Imagine he is not God-conscious; he would have destroyed his brothers when they came to Egypt for foods on account of how cruelly they dealt with him in the past. Is destroying them not destroying the plan of God to grow the first few that arrived Egypt to settle? Those whom God later multiplied into the mammoth population preserved to fall into slavery and eventually delivered?

No life pursuits matter except God’s purpose and will for you. In this is wrapped all you needed to be fulfilled in life. When your pursuits are the Kingdom of God which in other word is the will and purpose of His for you and your doing its righteousness which is tantamount to yielding to it, then, your chase is not in vain like King Solomon  seemed to generalize. He uttered these words based on his personal experience about life which was rooted in how he wasted it on pursuits of worldliness. He did not realize his vain pursuits while he was dinning and sipping on exotic wine with his bevy of beauties in his palace. He uttered this statement when Mr. death was hovering above him on his dying bed. His experience compelled him to realize and talk like that.

In the contrary, death did not compel Jesus Christ our Lord to murmur vanity upon vanity while nailed to the cross; rather, he confidently told God, ‘’I have glorified you Father, glorify me’’. He was able to talk in this manner because of his experience too. His experience took its root from living not for himself but for God alone. He allowed nothing to lure him from walking the path God the Father had called Him to walk in while on earth. He did not allow a call to come take up a political position or indiscriminate use of his powers to turn stone to bread for the sake of the belly even amidst a compelling hunger to make him derail from the way.

When it’s time for you to die, what are you going to utter silently or loudly with your mouth or within your heart? Are you going to tell your maker; I have done for you well, please do me well too. Or you are going to repeat vanity upon vanity like Solomon did? It is up to you. You have the grace to live the life God has called you to live here on earth which is only through Christ. This is the original freedom. Any other is counterfeit.
